Sunday Dinner And No Movie

Yesterday was a gloomy day again and Larry pulled out our little picnic table, grabbed assorted cheeses and crackers that were in the fridge and pantry,
and asked: do you want to go on a picnic to the arboretum with me?

While driving into Dallas, it was raining. We decided that if the rain continued, we would picnic under the gazebo.

It was still dark and rainy as we walked to our garden.
The sculptures take on a different color in the clouds.

Larry set our little table and poured the Champagne.

I brought music, and we toasted the special people in our lives.

The gardens were empty for a Sunday afternoon.
I am sure that the rain showers chased everyone away.
It was such a lovely picnic.

And then the sun came out.
It was a perfect picnic.
Love you beyond the moon.

I love this so much! Picnicing on a gloomy day with your favorite person. What a beautiful way to spend the day. I love gardens on overcast days...the mood is just a little different. Thank you for sharing it with us!
