My Heaven

 Larry took this photo of me while we were on Kaua'i this year. I am walking toward Niihau Island. Niihau is far in front of me, and it is obscure because of the weather.  Niihau is called the forbidden island and is 17 miles off the coast of Kaua'i.

Niihau is one of my "spots". Whenever I have a medical treatment done, I transport myself right here. I did not know that Larry was taking a photo of me. We were alone on the beach, the sun was hot and the wind was strong.

I was in heaven. This spot on earth, represents my get away spot. Whether in I am there in person or tucked into an MRI machine, it allows me to escape to a place where I love.

It is my heaven.
