La Cuisine Paris Aprons

Our favorite cooking school in Paris is La Cuisine Paris. Dear, wonderful people take such good care of us and want us to have a memorable time during the experience. (the link to La Cuisine will be at the bottom of this page)

This year we had to cancel our baguette class because my good friend came to Paris from Toulon to visit on the day when our class was scheduled. But early that day, Larry and I stopped by La Cuisine to say hello and to offer our apologies for missing class. We had the most wonderful visit with everyone. If you go to Paris please try to schedule a class. It is so very wonderful and are treated like family.

Larry, being the gentleman that he is stopped and bought flowers to take as our apology to La Cuisine. (so charming and so French)

This past weekend, at The Cottage, Larry and I put on our La Cuisine aprons and practiced making baguettes. Please don't laugh. We did our best and have a picture to prove it.

We always have a good time together and my non-cooking husband is discovering that preparing meals together can be fun too, so we practiced baguettes! (they were not very good at all)

Our next class at La Cuisine in the fall will be eclairs. Mother taught me how to make cream puffs when I was a teen....but I have a feeling that I will learn so much about choux pastry at La Cuisine.

After cancer treatments, my enthusiasm for cooking and baking went away, but it is slowly coming back and I cannot wait to discover new and exciting things to make in the kitchen!

Please find the La Cuisine website here:

Have the best day that you can imagine.
Love you beyond the moon.

They look good, can always feed them to the birds if they don’t taste quite right.
