In Full Swing

Busy, busy weekend. Larry and I had the nicest days. Saturday was the Nutcracker Ballet in Dallas and then dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant. The day was wonderful and being with Larry was the best.

Sunday found us hiking at Herman Baker park in Sherman Texas. Matilda and her family hiked with us. It was overcast and warm...we had a good hike.

We came home to get dinner ready. (not really because we had take-away for dinner) but  I made cookies to deliver and Larry had to work in the yard.

The watermain from the street to our house sprung a leak. We had to have the entire line replaced. During the work, trenches were dug across our front yard and they even had to jack-hammer across the driveway. Everything is finally fixed, but disrespectful, lazy, neighbors turn around in our driveway and often drive into our yard, hitting where the trench was dug, making huge holes. Larry is his infinite wisdom, put concrete urns on either side of the driveway. This is what he did while I baked cookies.

We had Jersey Mikes sandwiches for dinner. with fruit and chips.

Dessert was a happy birthday cake from Kroger. Larry's special day is Wednesday!

Our Sunday Movie  was Love The Coopers. (I love that movie)

And that brings us to Monday. The holidays are in full swing and some moments are especially difficult.

Happy, Happy Monday. Please try to look for the joyful moments...

Love you beyond the moon.
