Somehow Vindicated

Photo: Larry's zinnias

A few months ago, my daughter Lauren gave Larry a packet of zinnias seeds. He planted them in August and took care of them during the late, Texas summer days. Yesterday, he cut the first blooms and put them in an old jar. Isn't he awesome? I LOVE Larry so much.

Last night, we had a business dinner at one of Larry's accounts. I splurged on a Skinny Rita. It was very good and one was quite enough.

Isn't it interesting.....that somehow I expect a "Skinny Rita" to look differently than a regular Margarita? But it tasted just as good.

As the dinner progressed, we kept hearing a LOUD voice. I mean, we could not hear each other talk because a woman was talking so loud.

I found her, holding court on a corner booth.

I know that I should not have taken her photo, but I was so angry that no one at our table could hear each other because of this one woman.....I did not say anything to her, I just took her picture. It helped make me feel vindicated in an odd way. How do YOU handle a situation like this?

Please have the best day. I am going to try to be aware of my surroundings and not intrude in other peoples space......

Love you beyond the moon.

I have been at a coffee shop in town and there was a guy doing the same thing, only he was using very bad language (very bad). My friend & I asked the waiter to speak to him. Apparently he was a good customer, because the waiter did not talk to him. I got home and called the manager and told her about it, but I know it was too late. We are all patrons of places but I have never returned to the coffee shop since.

yes, it is very frustrating.
