Call Me Crazy

Last year, I made a friend on the Internet.
Shocking, right?
She was a kind young woman busy with small children and posted absolutely beautiful photos of her town.
We sent many DM's back and forth, talking about cooking, kids, traveling, family and so many other things.

You know that I knit. I knit A LOT.
It keeps me distracted and calm. There is always a project on my needles.
One day when I was somewhat stressed, I went to the yarn bag and pulled out the sweetest pink yarn. Perfect for a little girls hat.(size 2T)
That is what I used the yarn for.

It was a wonderful pattern, in fact, I would like one of these for me!

While working on the hat, I DM'd my Internet friend, asking for her email address because there was something that I wanted to ask her. (I was going to ask if she was comfortable for her home address to send each of her children a hat that I had made)

Well...I have not heard from her in over a month. I guess that she was not comfortable sharing her email address with me. That is ok, but it does make me feel somewhat crazy. I love sharing. Does that makes me look kind of kooky and creepy in these days of Internet creeps and frauds?

I am now knitting only for people I know. Please don't contact me for commission jobs. You cannot afford me. Wink wink.

AND now making Miss Marple scarves. They are a throw back to the 40's and they are charming! Jami is getting a blue one, and Lauren is getting gray. I am not sure what color I will make mine.

Today is a busy day. There are a dozen things to do and tonight Larry and I are meeting friends for dinner. I am looking forward to dinner in Dallas. What will I have?

Happy Friday. Stay safe. Please wear your mask or vaccinate. Life is fragile. Be happy, smile often and don't pick up people on the Internet.

Love you beyond the moon.
