I Am The Amused

Yes, we are home (not at the beach) and still on vacation.

That means no makeup for me and overeating.

That means cuddling and reading with the love of my life.

That means I am cooking Sunday Dinner and picking out a Movie,

but with each chime of Larry's mantle clock,

I feel agitated and sad.

It was a grumpy kind of morning...

Till God sent me a distraction of epic proportions.

The squirrels were having a picnic today.

There were two furry friends taking turns

getting peanuts out of the bowl.

It was comical and entertaining.

Our dear friends in Manchester, UK, feed their local squirrels

and because of them,

we pay more attention to the wildlife in our own garden.

Thank you Zach and Andy for setting an example of care and love.

Happy Labor Day dear ones.

Please have a safe holiday.

Love you beyond the moon.

Me
