This is Not Kaua'i

Larry and I were to leave for Kauai on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
Between the current restrictions in Hawaii and my health, we have postponed our trip till spring 2022.

We are not on Kaua'i like planned and I have been heartbroken for days.

The good news is, Larry is on vacation till Monday Sept. 13th and that is wonderful. I get to spend a week with him. He is my favorite person.

Larry and I have been going to Poip'u, Hawaii each year for about 12 years but have not been back since 2019. I am overwhelmed with the need for the beach and guess that a hot Texas day will just have to do.

This photo was taken in 2019 after church one Sunday.
We were on the south shore of Kaua'i on a beautiful morning.
Behind us can you see the shadow of Niihau?
Niihau has such a colorful history. I love it very much.

I am at my desk feeling very sorry for myself.
With so much sadness in the world, I am also feeling very selfish.

This is not Kaua'i.

Love you beyond the moon.
