 I'm not sure why I like gnomes.

Maybe it is their happy faces 

and

 bright clothes?

They have a confident, happiness

 about them that I envy.

Do you ever see a gnome in someone's garden 

and you smiled? Just smiled?

That is because of confident, happiness.

He is sure that being happy all the time is his gift.

What a wonderful gift to have.

I make it a point of honor to have a couple of gnomes in my garden as silent testimony to the right of gnome-lovers everywhere to do their own thing without fear of snide remarks.
