Yesterday, while on the patio, I picked a handful of mint.
The aroma was wonderful, what recipe can I use it in?
I went inside and looked at a few cookbooks......
When Larry went to Costco for a bottle of wine,
I asked him to pick me up Cranberry Juice Cocktail.
RECIPE:
CRANBERRY MINT ICED TEA
6 cups cranberry juice cocktail
4 tea bags-black tea
5 mint leaves
2 tablespoons sugar
1. Heat Cranberry Juice Cocktail to boiling in 2 qt pan.
2. Pour over tea bags and mint.
3. Let seep for 5 to 10 minutes
3. Strain tea.
4 Stir in sugar/ serve over ice
The recipe went well, the tea color was beautiful.
I went to bed to rest my back,
soon Larry appeared, with a class of the tea over ice.
He asked, have you tried it yet?
I said no....
He said here, try it.
With a twinkle in his eye he held the glass out.
I asked, do you like it?
He laughed and said it is awful. Try it.
What?
I said is it REALLY awful?
He laughed again, and said...
REALLY awful.
Can you guess where the tea ended up?
HA!
What a week.
You have to smile, even when your tea tastes like marigolds,
you can use it to clean the drain!
Larry, still laughing, said,
You don't often make a stinker.
I said, that ALMOST sounds like a compliment.
He winked at me.
Love you.
