Today I am grateful for random Wednesday thoughts.

A friend of mine recently posted a photo with a reminder.....

to do these three things each week.

1. Experience something NEW each week.

2. Connect with a FRIEND each week.

3. Enjoy something CULTURAL each week.

This is the BEST list! I have it posted at my desk and each week I mark down the accomplishments in my journal.

Yesterday I (as I mentioned in yesterday's post) made this week's loaf of rustic white bread. It was a warm day, and the rise was different than last weeks loaf. I used the lame to make a new design.

It is the second loaf baked in the cloche. I am pleased.

(wait till next week!)

Then Larry asked me out to dinner last night.

One of his accounts had new items on the menu and it was fun getting out. I know that we eat out too much, but I love going to a place we do not frequent often. The view is always different.

During dinner, I celebrated with a favorite drink.

I got very good news from my DR yesterday, so we celebrated with a skinny margarita.

Celebrating my personal goals is the best way I know to remove myself from the noise of the world.

Don't get me wrong. We do our civic duty, in fact we voted on Monday. I have the sticker to prove it.

Please don't ask me who I voted for.

I remember my mother telling us when we were small, never ask anyone how old they are, what church they go to or who they vote for.

Knowing that I voted and did my civic duty should be good enough.

Right?

Please be happy. Share your smile and enjoy the beautiful day.

Love you beyond the moon.

Me.
