Today I am thankful for visits with people I love.

 Yesterday, when Larry was finished working, we drove to East Texas to a small town near Forney.

That is where our daughter Jami and her husband live.

On the way there we went through a huge storm. We could not see much in front of the car. It was frightening but the rain stopped by the time we arrived at Jami's house.

Jami and her husband have two Weimaraner puppies. Jackson Pollock and Ernest Hemingway. Jackson and Ernie. (that always makes me smile) We love the dogs and they are always excited to see us when we come to visit.

We visited for a while and then I gave Jamison a lesson in floral design. (I am a floral designer by trade and taught it for many years in Plano, TX)

Jamison did such a great job...she gets a A after her Floral Design class.

She made two arrangements, and they were beautiful. We visited while we worked and had the best time.

We drive through Dallas on the way home, and the traffic is always a nightmare, but Larry and I had so much to talk about. It was a good visit.

I have a favor to ask.

We have a young friend who needs a Cochlear Implant. Would you please whisper a prayer for her and think a good thought? (God will know who she is) It seems as though surgeons are not too happy to perform this surgery right now.
