Today I am grateful for Turtle Doves.

Photo: A Feather

I am sitting at my desk when a few moments ago and I heard a big bang at the back patio window.
When I went to investigate, I saw a feather on the window.
Then I saw the baby Turtle Dove on the ground. He was moving but soon died from his injuries.

This has happened before, but it never gets easier.
Larry just buried him, and I am sitting here crying.

Lord, please guide the brave spirit of the Turtle Dove to fields that are always green and full of seed, where the insects are plentiful but not too swift, and the skies are ever clear for flying; and make us all more aware of the presence of your beautiful creatures, whatever form they may take. In Jesus name: Amen.

Love you beyond the moon.
Me
