Today I am grateful for a Thanksgiving Chicken.

I know that this is not turkey costume. At the time, I just could not do that to Libby the pug, so I made her into a Thanksgiving Chicken!
Look at her face.
She loved this costume.
I promise that she is smiling...
Photo: by robin.  I made this non-turkey costume for Libby, and she loved it.
I get very sentimental this time of year and often need a break from the blog. The time off is used to create, exercise and learn new things.
Often, God sends me a sign about my new projects, as he did with the origami crane and baking bread every week.
I wonder what the new creative process will be.
(I will update you after Thanksgiving)
What will you be doing over the Thanksgiving holiday?
If you are a regular blog reader, I am thankful for you.
Please have a lovely holiday...see you when it is over.
Love you beyond the moon.

For Now

This morning, I woke with a really bad back.
Gosh.
I hate when that happens.
It has been a long time since my back went out
 and
the Dr has taken away my "back" medicines because they make me bleed.
SOOOOOOO...
I took Tylenol, had a cup of tea and cuddled with Libby.
I will feel better very soon.....fingers crossed.

This past weekend was busy and I have pictures!
Sunday, dinner and movie was a success and yes! I have pictures!
It can all wait till tomorrow. Right?
For now, I will bid you a bientot.
Love you,
Me

Shame On You BRASSO Gadgetcare and hmv.com

I took this photo. This is my dog
and I made the costume.
{find it on AVANTI Cards worldwide}

While finishing treatments for breast cancer, I had an email from Lori.
Lori is the person who leases this photo for greeting cards and she needed to share something that she found.
In Lori's email, she shared a link taking me to this:
Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Brasso Gadgetcare
Someone used my photograph without permission.
I have been emailing weekly with hmv.com
{hmv.com seems to be the clearing house for companies to promote their products}
My communications with hmv.com have been interesting.
They wanted me to PROVE that this is my photograph.
I should be laughing.
THEY steal my photograph and I have to prove that it is mine?
REALLY?
BRASSO GADGETCARE CLEANER and hmv.com.
shame, shame, shame, on you.
Look for further correspondence as this continues.
***
I feel rather sad.
A huge company that makes millions,
steals my photo and then gives me the old run around.
You would think they could afford to buy their OWN pug dog.
Better yet, pay me for using my photo.
Look out BRASSO here I come.

On Saturday, Lauren & Josh brought Mitzu
to our home.
She was to be our guest for a few days, while
family gathers around Josh's Grand Mother
who is suffering from ALS.
Lauren had Mitzu's back pack filled with everything that she would need for a long weekend.
Dinners, a blanket and treats.
After Lauren and Josh left, Larry and I stayed with the dogs for awhile,
then left for a long walk.
We chatted and visited about the weekend,
then
made our way back home
Mitzu had made a daring move while she was alone,
breaking into her back pack that was on an
ottoman in the living room,
stealing a bag of treats that was packed there.
Remember
she has little bity Pug dog teeth.....
The package was ripped wide open
and every treat was GONE!
She had such a guilty look on her face,
we could not bare to scold her.
Instead,
I took photos.
The funny thing is,
she did not get sick and ate her regular dinners
Eating all of her treats did not effect her in any way.
We love hosting Mitzu.
She is always so much fun!
Love you,
Me
PS: WE have not told Lauren and Josh this story yet.
They have so much on their minds...
