Just Before Sunset

I am struggling.
Jet lag has kicked my b*** this week.
I am grouchy and hungry all the time.

Larry has been back to work 4 days now.
He LOVES his new position at the company
and
to be honest,
he is a better version of himself.
{and he avoided jet lag, how did he do that?}

On Kauai,
one evening,
we had a beach picnic with friends Lori & Bill.
It was just before sunset
and
Lori said: Do you see all of the green birds?
We could not miss them, they were announcing
the sunset by the hundreds.
Lori said:
The story is, years ago a woman
had two green parakeets
that escaped from her  house.
From those two,
they became hundreds.
They are funny, loud and pretty.
Green splatters the sky at sunset
and they talk to each other about the day.

Each evening, we would sit on the lanai,
watching them swoop through the clouds,
welcoming the night.

I miss the sea
and
I miss the singing parrots at sunset.
BUT
Being home is a joy.

I wish you a joyful day.
Love you.

Thank You For Being You

It is four days past Thanksgiving and I find myself more thankful now than last year at this time.......is that possible?
Thank you for always being so kind. Your heart is amazing and I envy how well you manage days. You are calm in turmoil, you are enthusiastic when there is a new adventure, you are smart, witty, forgiving and generous. In your heart and mind, your spirit of love and friendship overrules all else. You wake today, ready for whatever it brings, and I admire you beyond all else. Thank you. You are an intricate part of my heart, my days and my thoughts. Thank you. I am thankful for everything in my life. The blessings are uncountable. Each and every day of my life, I whisper thanksgiving. Thank you. Life is wonderful. Love you. Me

Fruitful Tuesday

TUESDAY TRIVIA Black Tuesday, in the United States, refers to October 29, 1929, part of the great Stock Market Crash of 1929. This was the Tuesday after Black Thursday. The crash is said to have marked the start of the Great Depression. Patch Tuesday is the second Tuesday of every month when Microsoft releases patches for their products. Some system administrators call this day Black Tuesday. Shrove Tuesday (also called Mardi Gras - fat Tuesday) precedes the first day of Lent in the Western Christian calendar. Super Tuesday is the day many American states hold their presidential primary elections. Tuesday is also known as the new Thursday among certain groups of New York influencers ~~~~~ It is going to be warm today! Imagine the patio door open. Fresh air, slight breezes, with just a bit of a chill to the air. November in Dallas! It is Tuesday. It seems that I have so much to do that when I woke at 3 AM, I got up and got busy. Have you ever noticed that when you are extremely tired the agitations in your life seem so meaningless. I think that your body filter weeds out the insane people, minor difficulties & rude moments. You can focus on the positive ideas, and plans, so that you can move forward, and achieve success. Mother Nature is such a wonder. May your day be filled with Mother Nature's glory. Love you. Me
