Origami Cranes and Sunday Dinner and a Movie

I am still making an origami crane every day and am not quite sure how it started or why I even wanted to make the folded cranes. It has been months now and the obsession has not slowed down. Today's crane  was yellow. A folded crane is a symbol of peace. I love knowing that every time I give a crane away, I am passing the peace.

Yesterday was Sunday...and we made it to church! Sunday dinner menu had been planned all week because I bought the wine for dinner days ago. We made, filet mignon, potato casserole and steamed green beans.

Dinner was delicious. Larry made the potato casserole, and I grilled the beef and steamed the veggies.
Photo: The wine I picked out was prefect! PERFECT!

Our movie was Larry's choice. Daliland

Ben Kingsley played Dali. It was well filmed, inderesting, I do not know how factual the film is and it was a little naughty at times.
We liked it very much. Perhaps it just made us feel closer to the ARTist?

Monday is here. That means laundry day. While the laundry swirls, I get things done at my desk. I owe letters, am  trying to finish a painting this week, and work various projects for the next couple of weeks.
Lucky that we are having left overs for dinner tonight.

Have a happy, happy Monday.
Just one small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day.
(sometimes I need to remind myself to stay positive.)
Love you beyond the moon.
