Twinges

It is December 3rd already! I have been wrapping gifts and honestly trying to get into the holiday spirit. Perhaps this weekend I will feel the first twinges of the holiday. Fingers crossed and spit into the wind.
The Christmas Memory Book posts have been interesting. I have heard from many old friends and foes (I don't think that they know that they are foes) and this is as holiday-ish I am getting right now. (But that's a good thing isn't it?)

The picture above was taken on an evening that we were going to a big (HUGE!) holiday party. A friend of ours, rented out the Meyerson Symphony Center to host the huge party for his employees. (he owned many restaurants in Dallas) The "story" goes....Robin drank a bit to much wine that evening and claims (to this day) that the women's rooms had HO-HO-HO toilet paper in each stall. This was 22 years ago! You'd think that someone would believe me by now. (they don't)

The notes in the book talk about dinners with family, speaking at church as we were sometimes the Advent family and exciting moments during the holiday.

For many, many, years Larry and I hosted a holiday party on the Saturday before Christmas. We live in a small cottage and it would be filled with wonderful people, food and love. Music would fill the air while voices shared the holiday spirit. Larry and I loved those parties.

Other news........Yesterday I had a massage. It has been over two years since I have had one... before breast cancer #2. I felt uncomfortable and nervous but the therapist was wonderful and did her best  to comfort me. It is interesting how life and aging affects our outlook on certain things. I wonder what the next 20 years will hold?!

Have a wonderful day...

Love you beyond the moon.
