Sober October And Other Traditions

Yesterday was a bit... was it gloomy? Strange? Larry and I went to church... and came home to do errands. I had laundry to do and projects to finish. (I usually do laundry on Mondays, but I have DR appointments today)

While Laundry was getting done, I watched a doc/movie called FOUND on Netflix.

Found is about these three beautiful young women who were adopted from China as infants. I cried.

While doing laundry and watching FOUND, I was blocking and  assembling a sweater that I had knitted.

The shoulder seams are done, sleeves are in and now have the side seams to complete. Then will knit the front buttonhole band. YAY! I will have a new, home made sweater for this winter!

Sunday dinner was take away salads from BJ'S Restaurant. We drank water because of Sober October. We started Sober October late this year because of the wedding in Philadelphia. We wanted to enjoy beer and wine at the wedding so, we postponed! (good reason, yes?)

We have practiced sober October for many years. This year feels a bit mixed up, but that's OK. Everything feels mixed up these days.

Yesterday rushed by and I don't really know where the moments went. I think that I am nervous about my Dr Appointments today.

While getting ready for the Drs, I was at my desk and look at what I found.

This is my next knit project.   I think that I will go to Farmersville, TX this week to my favorite yarn shop (The Fiber Circle) and buy yarn for a few hats... I love this pattern. So French.

Well dear ones. have a lovely day.  Please make your moments count.

Love you beyond the moon.
