A Little Fairy Dust

 HOME:

Larry and I are home sweet home. The cottage is warm with all of our familiar things and now it is time to get back to life as normal. I love normal.

Philadelphia:

We had a most wonderful weekend in Philadelphia. Larry and I had been invited to witness Jessica and Ross promise to love each other forever. Weddings are perhaps one of my favorite things.

Weddings:

Weddings include family, friends, flowers, beautiful clothes, so many smiles, new friends to meet, an amazing atmosphere, LOVE and faith.

Memories:

I have pictures, memories and so many things to share. But...I am not ready to share right now. I want to keep a few things close to my heart for the time being, but I will write about the trip later.

No Breast Cancer:

While in Philadelphia, I had a email from my radiologist and my breast surgeon. (I gave them permission to email with test results) My October 13th, 2021, mammogram showed no signs of breast cancer. It was such good news, I cried. Why is waiting for these things, worse as we get older? (My Radiologist, Dr M, is one of my favorite people and she always takes such good care of her patients)

Faith:

While away, there were many signs of my continued faith. As the promise of faith lives in my heart, signs and words from friends and family reminded me daily of what is truly important. Larry and I had the  pleasure of meeting my cousin Scott and Mary, his wife for lunch. (parents of the bride. They were very busy and took time to have lunch with us) From the prayer that Scott shared before our meal, to hugging them good bye after our meal, I found myself in an awe of this thing called family. These moments will live in my heart for a very long time.

All You Need:

All You Need Is
Faith and Trust
and
A Little Fairy Dust

This little fairy sat across from us during lunch with Scott and Mary....it was just another sign for me to remember that each moment is a treasure.

Love you beyond the moon.
