Last evening, Larry and I took a picnic to the Dallas Arboretum.
It was a glorious night and Frankie Valli songs floated through the air.
I was in heaven.
The hill was filled with picnickers and we had the most wonderful evening.
Boats gathered on White Rock Lake to listen to the music. We have been going to the concerts for years and it is a constant, wonderful time to picnic and enjoy just talking to Larry till the music starts.
It was a joy to be outside, around people and Frankie Valli music.
Dear Hearts, The Indian summer days are getting shorter and the world is trying to adjust to a new normal. Yes, I am convinced that this IS our new normal. I HATE it so much. So much negativity and selfishness is beyond my comprehension. I personally need to be a better, person, friend, wife, mother and try to make a difference in my little part of the world. Making a difference is a personal exercise....but any comments or emails as usual, are always welcome.
Have a happy Saturday and Sunday. Tomorrow is the Great Christmas Give Away here at the cottage. I will share on Monday.
Love you beyond the moon.
