Photo: Paris Cyclamen Plant
Yesterday was a day filled with so much to comprehend,
(world news)
I HAD to take time out for a few breaks during the day.
I am cleaning out the photo files on the lap top.
and the photo above was in a Europe file...
It has a funny story.
Three years ago we rented a sweet apartment
very near the UNESCO campus in Paris.
I love that part of town very much.
It is warm, cozy and the people are kind.
The apartment was furnished,
and had a gigantic TV in the sitting room,
sitting on a low table on a TV stand.
I broke the TV, knocking it off the table and shattering it to bits.
Larry said that he must go to the appliance store and buy a new TV.
In Paris, an appliance store? That still makes me laugh.
It was MY fault and I felt so bad about it.
So....
Larry went to the appliance store and bought a new TV.
He had to flag a taxi down ,
figure out how to load up the new TV into the taxi.
(Larry is amazing. The year before, he had to install
new cable/internet in the Paris apartment.)
I did feel so bad about the TV....
But Larry understood my feelings
and brought home a cyclamen plant to cheer me up.
Sometimes we talk about the Paris TV breaking...and smile.
(Imagine Larry carrying a flat screen TV
through the streets of Paris. It was classic)
Love you beyond the moon.
