Lessons And Legacies

Yesterday, Larry and I had the privilege of attending the funeral of a sweet lady that we go to church with. We only knew her from church services and Sunday morning, visits.

We sat in the back of the church as the sanctuary slowly filled. The service was lovely. Her family spoke and allowed the rest of us to discover what a special person she was. I wish I had known her better.

Perhaps this is a lesson for me? I need to put myself "out there"  and be more open to others....Isn't it interesting that even after death, there are lessons to be learned?
