A New Recipe~ Robin's Sweet Baked Brie

Yesterday, while starting dinner, I decided to add an element to the meal. All of the ingredients were in the house...so why not? Here is my sweet baked brie......the savory brie will be published next week.

ROBIN'S SWEET BAKED BRIE

Ingredients

1 8oz round of brie

1 9" pie pastry (your recipe or pre-made)

1/2 cup of Bonne Maman brand, jam pineapple, passion fruit

1 egg white

This is the brie I use...

This is the jam we use, if we are in France or here in the states

Method

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Spray pie plate lightly with Pam.

Place pie crust in pie plate.

Trim the rind off of the brie and set in the middle of the pie crust.

Top the brie with 1/2 cup Jam.

Pleat the pastry around the brie.

Brush with egg white.

Decorate with herbs.

Bake at 400 degrees for  25-30 minutes.

Let cool for 15-20 minutes before serving.

Serve with your favorite crackers

or

slice and eat it plain as Larry does.

Enjoy and please let me know how you liked it....

Love you beyond the moon.
