A Golden Day

I finished the sandals this morning.
Below is the post I wrote, before I painted......

As to my personal agreement,
Tuesday (and Thursday) mornings are painting days.
There is a canvas on the easel right now
and
I must finish
painting the old Birkenstock sandals.
I have had these sandals forever and they needed a face-lift.

The project is  acrylic on leather.
The daisy backgrounds are dry
and will paint
the delicate areas around the flowers today.
I don't want to put a varnish over the painting..
as it will make the leather shiny,
BUT the varnish would protect the paint.

I wanted to finish the sandals so
I could wear them during Indian summer.
A few days ago, I read a post and the woman called
Indian summer: a long, golden sigh at the end of summer.

Isn't that such a lovely phrase?
Have a "Golden Day"

Love you beyond the moon.
Me
