Somehow

Last night I looked around the table

and 

felt proud, content, filled with love

and

totally in awe of our children.

Jamison is a 911 dispatcher while she studies for her Masters.

Jared, our soon to be son in law, is a Dallas Police Officer.

They both have to work Christmas Eve

and

Christmas Day.

Last night, Lars, Josh and Matilda,

Larry and I met at a local restaurant to give them their gifts.

It was magical.

As our children get older,

I feel blessed that they want to be with us.

They are all busy with their own lives, 

and

 somehow, by the grace of God,

that includes Larry and me, in their daily lives.

I was given the best Christmas gift Last night.
