When I read about her I was amazed.
Is love such as hers built into us all and we just ignore it?
OR
do some people get a double dose?
I was making the big bed, while TV was on.
Good Morning America
shouting news, making jokes and then finally,
a story about
I stopped what I was doing to listen, sitting on the edge of the bed.
It is a simple story, one of love and family.
Elena gave up her U Conn basketball career to go home
and
play basketball for University of Delaware.
She needed her sister Lizzie more than anything else.
Lizzie needed Elena too.
I cried while listening.
There is something so right about following your heart,
no matter what.
