Breathless

Last evening, I was starving.

I mean STARVING!

Larry {as promised} took me to Pei Wei for dinner.

The restaurant was filled with people in blue shirts.

A convention at the Plano center I am sure.

They sat behind us, loud, happy voices filled the room.

It was nice.

At Dinner,

I had  an email from our friend Bobbie with

an update after Bill's surgery.

All went well, they rested at home last night,

and will have a check up this morning with the DR.

SO

Before I opened my fortune cookie, I said, it will be something about health.

Because we had an update from Bobbie....

BUT LOOK!

I believe that my fortune was about Mattie.

She is the small gift that will bring joy to the entire family.

After dinner we went for a short walk.

As if I need another walk in a day.

BUT

Walking with Larry is fun.

The never ending chat, teasing....not to mention holding hands.

We ended up at the DAR tree.

It has been around 100 degrees every day

and thought a drink might help.

It is a tunnel of CREPE MYRTLES

and my favorite spot along the walk.

Yesterday,

when I ducked under this beauty,

the trees and sidewalk were covered with soft red blooms.

Blooms as thin as tissue, floating down and around me.

It was so lovely.

It took my breath away.
