Kittens and Edredon

~Maurice Ravel~
Nights ago, during a huge storm,
I turned off all things electric.
Except for the stereo next to the big bed.
WRR is a classical station in Dallas,
 and that is where the dial was set.
Ravel was the classical artist for the night.
What an amazing man to go through a storm with.
Larry had been at meetings...
and when he came home to a dark house,
all he heard was Ravel.
We cuddled on the bed,
{Libby, Larry and myself}
till the concert was over.
What a perfect way to get through a storm.

Today,
The day is filled with dirty laundry
and
projects.
The cat fabric below was bought in Paris 5 years ago.
Put into a stash container and forgotten.
But guess what?
As I gathered new things to make
Miss Mattie a gift,
{a baby Amish quilt. will post photos later}
I found the kittens. Oh, how perfect the fabric is
for this project.
Today I will be cutting out and piecing.....
The French word for today is:
edredon.

I took a few shots,
so you can see the kittens up close.
The fabric is from a wonderful quilt shoppe on the left bank.

The design of the fabric is so .....French.
I love it.
