Secrets in the Tree

We live in a very old part of town.
So many ancient trees ready to be cared for or cut down.
We have been slowly landscaping,
and it is expensive to have a 30 year old tree downed.
This year, we must continue to live
with the 40 year old mulberry trees at the back patio.

This is my view from the kitchen window.
Herbs on the patio,
and
this poor, sad tree might not be here next year.
Do you see anything odd about the tree?

It made me smile...
Thank you for the surprise Larry.
Love you.

What a dreamy garden & great space to sip morning coffee or gather herbs for dinner! Love Larry's surprise too...

I hate bringing down an old tree! But I suppose like everything else, ashes to ashes.
