Last night,
Larry took me to our favorite little Italian BYOB for dinner.
With bottle of Greysac in hand, we shared
a salad,
and a large pizza.
Of course screaming man came.
For the first time all week,
we sat and talked.
For hours!
So much has happened in the past two weeks
it was time to connect and enjoy each other.
Besides so much business/art/company/trips/wine tasting...
a small something happened that dinged me.
Out of the blue, I was dinged.
How can it be, that after you move away from something,
and
you find that one place where you can be the best person you can be,
how is it possible to get dinged?
Here is what I have to say to my dingee:
We all have a cross to bear.
It is what you chose to do with that cross that matters.
Sorry that you find my happiness so distasteful.
After all this time, just move on.
Life can be wonderful, if you let it.
***
It is early.
The sun is out after dreadful storms last night.
The screen doors are open and birds are singing.
Libby is snoring after eating all of her pug dinner.
and
I played Wordsmith on my phone for one hour.
I am one hour behind in my errands today.
What a lovely day to be lost in!
Happy Friday dear reader (so many of you are friends)
Please remember,
Life is what we chose to make it.
Isn't that the most wonderful possibility of all?
Today can be perfect,
if you chose it to be.
Love you beyond the dings.
Me
