In The Wee Hours

   It is 3:30 am and I am at my desk. I am fine, happy, thrilled for today, but  cannot sleep. Snuggling close to Larry and listening to Libby snore for an hour did not help at all. I wish that I could  stick my head in the sand and  get some sleep.

   There is a chance of rain today. I listened closely while tossing and turning in bed, but no rain yet. The plants on the patio need a drink and of course, the new roof needs a testing.

   It is almost 4 hours into Thursday, April15th, 2010.  
   On this date in 1738 The bottle opener was invented. That's it! Perhaps I need a beer to fall asleep.
