Have you ever had a friend, who felt like your brother from the moment that you met? I have a friend such as that. Joseph. We see each other in person, once a year, when we both cross paths in November. During the rest of the year, we send boxes and notes. Joseph is the KING of postcards. I get one from him at least once a week. (except when it is film festival time in San Francisco, and he immerses himself in the movies, and people who make them) Joseph and his dear Mama, Jackie will be leaving CA tomorrow, for the summer in Paris and Switzerland. Just knowing that they are so far seems to touch me. (will you please whisper a prayer for me when you are in Lourdes?) Joseph, when you read this, Look at the photo above. The box you see, left Plano this morning and the next time that you see it, will be in Paris. (The beginning of next week). It is filled with love and hugs. (and fragile so lets keep our fingers crossed that arrives without breaking) Your box waited on a table in my workroom. My mothers clock, a painting from Jami and the sailing ship, from the Dallas Museum of art......... Joseph, Jackie. Bon Voyage. Rendez-vous à Paris ce Novembre. Soyez en sécurité et heureux. Love you, Me ***********************************************************
