Today I am grateful for Texas highways.

Taking A Drive

Photo: Larry at the Dallas Arboretum photo by me-June 2024

Yesterday I had a major case of the blues. So many things were heavy on my heart and Larry told me, I'm taking you for a drive.

We turned music on in the car, the sky was beautiful, and we talked. We talked about everything going on in our lives.

Driving north, we ended up in Denison, Texas.
This charming city is located on the Texas/Oklahoma border and is the birthplace of Dwight D. Eisenhower.
An antique shop was open, and we browsed.
We bought 12 depression salad plates (yellow) and a book.

We came home with our treasures and had a lovely afternoon. Even if I was still "blue".
Happy Monday wherever you are.
Love you beyond the moon.
