A Random Act of Love~Christmas 2023

On Christmas Day, Larry and I were alone. Our oldest daughter was in Broken Bow, Oklahoma with her family at their cabin. Our younger daughter, and her husband had plans with his family.

Larry and I made our own plans for Christmas morning, the menu was arranged for dinner and before we settled into the day,
we went to a local lake for a 3-mile hike.

When we arrived at the lake, the beautiful day lifted our spirits and we set forth on our hike. I must admit that I was acting up a bit, posing on a picnic table. I felt lighthearted.
While I was standing on the picnic table,
I saw a note taped to the top.
It was  an envelope.

The directions were on the front....
for a Merry Christmas.

Inside the card was what made me cry.

On this beautiful Christmas Day, I was touched in the most amazing way.
It was a totally new experience for me.
A random reminder of God's love and knowing that someone had placed the card on the picnic table. The table where I was posing.
(The randomness of this wonderful act filled my heart with joy. How could anyone have known that this is exactly what I needed?)

When Larry and I have our "Christmas" dinner at CHIPOTLE,
there will be a special prayer said for the person who left the card on the table.

We are planning on paying this forward.
We are picking up gift cards today and I cannot wait to leave a special card, note, and gift card in a random location for someone to find.
The special card will be a reminder of God's love.

Please have a wonderful day.
Love you beyond the moon.
Me
