Found Elves and Sunday Dinner and a Movie

In an earlier post, I shared that two of the elves on a shelf were missing in action...you can read about it here---> The Lost Elves

GOOD NEWS!

They have been found and accounted for!

I have received sweet notes from the adoptive families and all is well.

I would like to thank the families for letting me

know that the elves arrived safe and sound.

Yesterday was a most beautiful day in Plano.

Larry and I went to church, where the annual CANTATA was performed.

I was in awe at the talent.  The spoken word, choir singing and the music was magical.

The church also held their holiday "Cookie Caper" after the CANTATA.

It is a bake sale but all cookies. (although I made a batch of fudge to go along with the cookies I made)

It was a very good day.

Then we came home....to make  profiteroles for Sunday dessert.

Larry and I made the cream puffs together, and they turned out perfect.

I will share more about making them later.

For dinner we had steaks, baked potatoes and salad.

Our movie was an old favorite, "While You Were Sleeping"....

And for dessert we had our home made profiteroles!

They were filled with vanilla crème pat....

and they were delicious.

The best part about dessert was that Larry and I made them together.

Last nights table had something special. A prayer candle. So many things are going on in the world and this time of year is very difficult for many of our friends. It was a gentle reminder for us....

To hold the people in our lives close.

Today's Christmas quote is:

~Pope Francis~

"God never gives someone a gift they are not capable of receiving. If He gives us the gift of Christmas, it is because we all have the ability to understand and receive it."

Please have a wonderful day. Smile often and be happy.

Love you beyond the moon.
