The Bachelor Show? Yay or Nay

Photo: Clementines

It has been so hot that I do not want to cook.
(I did make our anniversary dinner on Sunday)
Last night, because Larry insisted that I eat something,
I made us PB&J on wheat bread.
He grabbed the fruit and made the bowl look pretty.
It was 104 degrees when we had dinner at 6:00pm.

Then I wasted 3 hours of my life watching
a 20 something young woman try to decide
what man she wanted to marry.
The Bachelorette.
Now I hear, there is a Golden Bachelor.
He is over 70 years old and will have 20 women
  posture for his love.
I don't think that my stomach can stand that show.

Sometimes I feel like a grumpy old woman sharing
my feelings about these idiotic bachelor shows.
People should find their lovers the old fashioned way,
Like me! At the grocery store.
I met Larry at a grocery store, when I was returning
out of date Philadelphia Cream Cheese.
That was almost 50 years ago.
See? Our love has lasted a lot longer than any bachelor match-up.
Here is to finding love in all the RIGHT places.

Love you beyond the moon.
Me
