Celebrating Year 46

Our anniversary weekend started on Friday.
Wonderful Larry planned a dinner for us at the Mansion in Dallas.
I had not been there in years and it was wonderful.
Larry looks a little grumpy in this photo. He was not grumpy, I just caught him at a serious moment.

On Saturday we did chores (grocery shopped), we went to the movies (saw Strays) and then went to PF Chang for
dinner and had my favorite salad
.
On Sunday, we slept in. It was great as we never sleep in.
Later that evening, we had dinner and a movie....
our movie was

Have you seen it?
We liked it very much.
It was a black and white movie, but Gary Cooper and Barbara Stanwyck  were wonderful. I had never seen it before and we loved it.

Our dinner menu was, Salmon in wine sauce, Southwestern rice and green beans. Our wine was Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Champagne and for dessert we had cake. There is a special bakery in Dallas, where we have a cake made each year.....this year they out did themselves for us.

It was a devils food chocolate cake with Bavarian cream filling
