Thoughts on Being Home

 Happy Monday! The sun is shining and my music is playing. (Peter Nero) Larry and I both have the worst jet lag after this trip, but we are happy to be home and ready to get things back to normal.

We had a wonderful time on the island. (Kaua'i) Lazy Days & Exciting Experiences was the theme of this years trip and time held no value while we were away. My treasured moments were spent with Larry. 

We swam, picnicked, slept in, watched sunrises and sunsets from our lanai, met friends, ate extravagant dinners and had hots dogs on the beach. So many special moments that today, being back home, my heart is full.

My plans for the next month will keep me busy doing what I adore. (Painting for a gallery show) I am inspired by life on the island and wonder how that will find its way into my next paintings.

I am sad be to be home and glad to be home.....Mahalo for taking the time to check up on me and ALOHA. (your kind messages while I was away meant the world)

I am excited to recover from jet lag, get my paints out and have real Mexican food for dinner tomorrow night.
