Glorious Days

Yesterday was a glorious. The clouds were thick and humidity was high. Walking two miles felt easier than usual and I honestly don't know why. Perhaps it was just contentment.

This morning, storms came through Dallas. They did not last long and all we got was rain. (no hail or tornado)  Larry and I woke up to rain on the roof and gentle thunder. 

After the storms, I was emailing a group I belong to and had an aura. You know, the dreaded precursor to a migraine headache? It was a bad one. My vision was effected and along with the aura, shadows in The Cottage were weird. Larry got medicine to me right away and yay. I am feeling better already. (but this one felt a bit different)

Back in the day, I had migraines often and had to take anti seizure medicine for them as they were so bad. Isn't it wonderful that medicine has evolved to a point that even migraine medicine has become so advanced?

Larry is on a conference call, I have materials out for a new painting, (first sketch and  perspective) and it looks cloudy outside (or maybe it is my aura coming back?) BUT it is finally Friday.

Wonderful, happy Friday. Whatever is happening in your life, take a deep breath, and keep going forward. Each day is a blessing.

PS: My daughter just texted me this photo. A sweet pug named Lee is up for adoption in Denton, Texas. OH! I love him already, but to be honest, my dog days are over. (it is sad and difficult to admit that)  I know that a good family will adopt him this weekend.
