The days have been crazy. My mind is focused, single minded and have been trying to exercise every day, eat better and finish projects. (today's post in a nutshell)
Sunday, we did have dinner and a movie. Turkey sandwiches on wheat bread, home made cream of broccoli soup and fruit. The wine was 15.2% alcohol (to high!) and made me really tired, if that's what you call it . Our movie was Long, Long Trailer, an oldie but goodie. Besides, after that wine, everything was really OK.

Yesterday, I walked 2 miles at the lake. It was a beautiful day and the fresh air was wonderful.

I have been sewing. I try to find dresses at certain stores but nothing suits me. I am so tall, aging and cannot wear the typical "Senior" outfits.
So, I sew. the project I have been working on is usually a fast sew. The fabric is a bit different, and I ended up making the entire thing and did not try it on before sewing up the hem. I tried it on and it looked awful. It was so long....and had to take it out, will add the hem tape this morning, and re-hem it.

The dress is for a brunch that I will be attending with 10 people in Vegas. (for one of Larry's clients and he is hosting) I am not a big Vegas person, but there are a few restaurants that I LOVE there and brunch will be at one of these restaurants.
I guess that it is time for me to get busy....Please have a wonderful day.
