The Banshees Of Inisherin

One of Larry's clients is a huge movie company. Each new year they give him free movies for the rest of the year. It is a wonderful gift and we use it often because going to the movies is one of our "special" dates.

In 1978, we were newlyweds and started the movie tradition by going and seeing GREASE. I managed a local flower shop in Bartlett Tennessee and Larry Managed the IGA food store, We had been married less than one year when we discovered our love for movies.

This week, the Oscar nominations came out. That means that Larry and I go see all of the nominated movies that we had not seen and on Oscar night, I plan a dinner and we see if our winning predictions were right.

Yesterday Larry and I escaped at his lunch hour and saw a nominated movie. He was up late into the night catching up on work but it was worth it.

We Saw The Banshees of Inisherin.

I must admit, The movie is not

 what I expected.

It was filmed beautifully,

Collin Farrell was wonderful and

the music  prfecct

for the Irish setting of the movie.

We are so glad that we saw the movie but my feelings

about it are all over the place.

If you are a movie fan like we are, this time of year (Oscar time)

is fun and exciting. What movie will you go see?

Lets just pray for no slaps on Oscar night.....

Love you beyond the moon.
