Favorite Color

Yesterday was Mathilda's birthday. She is eleven going on twenty two years old. I cannot wait to see what the next ten years hold in store for her.

When Matilda was small, we would have Camp Robi each summer. She would spend a week with us at The Cottage and each day I would have fun/camp  activities scheduled.

She is a bit to grown up for Camp Robi anymore, so we are having "Camp-ish" days during this summer. Tomorrow we will have a Camp-ish day. I promise to share about it later this week. (I am excited about this activity and hope that she is too)

Yesterday, I was ready to place an order on Amazon...when Larry said, wait till my lunch hour, lets run to Walmart and see if they have what you need. I was kind of grumpy because it was so hot outside...but I waited. (AND I have that addiction to ordering from Amazon)

I am so glad I waited. They had exactly what I needed for my quilting process, not to mention I saved over ten dollars  and did not have to wait for a delivery. Thank you Larry! I LOVE you!!
I bought this tiny iron. Ironing seams is important during the quilting process and I was dreading getting out the big ironing board and iron while I worked. I needed a mini iron and mini ironing board.

I found both things, brought them home and got to work. To be honest, I am kind of in love with this mini iron...it is exactly what I needed and it is cute.

I have started another Churn Dash block using the end of the ironing board for placement as I sew the pieces together.

Quilting now takes up less space in my studio than ever before.
Who cares if it is  150 degrees outside? I can get things done without the clutter and inconvenience of my old iron and ironing board.

GREEN A POEM
The weaving continued
as
the sun beat down, onto the morning.
Fabric
like our lives
shares, love, sadness, joy and creativity.
The tapestry of today
lives in your heart.
Be joyful,
and pick your favorite color.

Have a great day. Please be kind to each other
and share your joy.
Love you beyond the moon.
