Two Cupcakes

Yesterday was such a quiet day. 

The Texas heat was oppressive again

and

everyone looked like they were moving in slow motion. I ate two cupcakes for dessert...and watched Roman Holiday for the Sunday movie. Maybe I was moving in slow motion too.

 Larry is out of town at a convention.

He loves his customers very much and has looked forward to re-connecting with clients after pandemic time away.

The house is super quiet without him and I have plans to keep very busy while he is gone.

I have walked 2 miles already this morning....

and now feel a but tired. Sounds like time to read a book. Yes? 

It is much cooler outside today.

It might be a perfect time to grab my book and read for a bit in the gazebo.
