Monday Nights With Phil Rosenthal

Even though Larry does not cook or care to prepare food in any way, he is our resident Foodie. He is (still!) working full time in the Restaurant/food industry and loves it more than ever.

Larry has been working in the food industry since 1984. We have been privileged to know many chefs, eat at fantastic restaurants and enjoy many, many dinner parties.. (I love to cook.)

Each Monday  evening, at the Cottage it is Somebody Feed Phil Night.

Phil Rosenthal was the writer/producer for the TV show Everyone Loves Raymond. The joyful spirit in which he wrote Everyone Loves Raymond, shows up in every episode of Somebody Feed Phil. Even if you are NOT a foodie, watching Phil travel the world, tasting food from the most interesting chefs is wonderful.

In each episode, he visits a city and highlights the food, chefs, local charities, his beloved family and crew.

We watch Somebody Feed Phil on Netflix. The episodes run about 46-63 minutes. It is my personal TV show recommend for anyone who eats. (lets be honest. Anyone who EATS considers themselves a foodie, even if they know nothing about restaurants or recipes!)

At my "dream" dinner party, I would prepare one of my favorite meals, and host, Larry Tolbert, Henry Mancini, Julia Child, Henri Matisse, Patrick Esquerre, Stanley Marcus, Alan Passard and Phillip Rosenthal.

You do not have to watch Phil on Monday's. You can watch him anytime on Netflix.

Who would come to your "dream" dinner party? I bet you would invite Phil.

Love you beyond the moon.
