Cubby Hole In My Desk

Happy 8th of January.  It is raining this morning and I  am dressed and to go to the market. We have something special planned for Sunday Dinner and a Movie and hope that I can find the ingredients.

As so many of you know, I have had a difficult year. Larry has been my best support and I will never be able to thank him enough.

The few of you who have reached out to check on me, I thank you very much. How wonderful it is to know that somewhere, out there, there is someone who truly cares what kind of day that you are having.

I do have a confession. After many, many years, we did not mail out our home-made holiday cards. If you received a store bought card from us, it is because you were generous enough to reach out to us first with a charming card. Thank you so much for that.

At the end of summer, I made the cards. They were addressed and ready for Larry and I to write notes to you while in France. But.....

....my heart was not in it. For many reasons, we just did not feel like going to the time, the expense and the emotion of writing  notes on the 65 cards.

The cards (in blue envelopes) are waiting in a cubby hole in my desk. I don't know if I will use them next year.

To those of you who shared your holiday with Larry and I, it meant the world and we love you very much.

To those of you who have sent rather rude references about not receiving a card this year. Please take us off your holiday card list.

Love you beyond the moon.
