This is one thing that I make, that tastes like France.
Please do not ask me where the recipe came from.
A magazine years ago.(20 years) Who can remember?
Twenty years ago, the girls were not interested
when I made anything that was labeled a "muffin"......
when I made anything that was labeled a "muffin"......
Today is different.
I deliver muffins to my precious family
and
they enjoy the left overs with a smile.
French Chocolate Muffins
Ingredients
2 2/3 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup baking cocoa(Ghirardelli Cocoa is the best for this recipe)
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
In another bowl, whisk in the eggs, sour cream, water, milk, oil and vanilla.
Stir into dry ingredients just till moistened.
Fold in chocolate chips.

Fill paper lined muffin cups two thirds full.
Bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes or till a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks.
