Libby

Today Libby had her bandage changed.
After the DR was finished, she called me into one of the examination rooms.
It is there where she told me that the tumor that was removed last week,
from Libby's right leg,
was malignant.
I waited till I left the Dr's office to cry.
Then I cried all the way home,
while Elton John sang, Your Song. I turned up the radio loud.
Poor Libby. She thought I was crazy.
Next Thursday, Libby will see a dog oncologist.
We will discover how extensive Libby's cancer is,
and make the best decisions for her after the appointment.
How on earth can I thank you?
The notes, the calls, the text messages, notes on Facebook...
each word means  so much and gives me strength.
This photo of Libby was taken just a moment ago....
she posed with Cat In The Hat.
Love you all.

I am so sorry to hear about Libby. I know how difficult it is to make those decisions for much-loved pets.
