Dear Samantha,

Since your first surgery last year, till now,

Larry and I have been worried about you.

It was wonderful meeting you for dinner last week.

Shae was adorable, Oscar's food perfection and your health

NORMAL!

The gift of eggs from your hen house made me smile.

You cannot imagine how good the fresh eggs were.

I made potato pancakes, bagel sandwiches and bacon.

Fried eggs, over easy are my favorite.

Larry said, make mine just like yours.

And I did!

Mother always said,

never go to dinners ( parties, visits, etc) empty handed.

I have to say,

Your eggs "from hens with names"

Was the most fantastic hostess gift of all!

Thinking about you as you start back to work.
