As part of my day, I often walk to a nearby lake.
Yesterday, after the storms and before the tornadoes,
I went to the wonderful lake.
I saw a woman wading in the flood waters.
After I took the shot, she waved to me.
Massive amounts of water
make the lake undefinable.
The flood waters came up to the sidewalk.
With so much rain,
(we live at the top of a small incline)
we only got really wet.
Please excuse the "in progress" garden,
but notice how Libby ignored her wet paws,
to investigate the new smells after the storm.

It is not 7 AM ...and I am thinking,
I really need a walk today.

Samantha...the water was almost to the roof yesterday. One year when the girls were little, we took our Christmas photo at the pavillion. Yesterday was such a strange day. how are you?
what is that lady doing in the water? Doesn't she know she can get bacteria and parasites from water like that???? ICK!
