Weddings and Cochons

Two weeks ago Larry and I went to a wedding in Kansas City. The ceremony was held in a most beautiful chapel of wood and glass. The Groom was nervous and the Bride was breathtakingly beautiful. I had moments with a good friend.....and special moments that only weddings bring.
This is Cochon. He is a finger puppet from the Dallas Museum Of Art. During the trip to Kansas City...he was a focal point of amusement and observation.....Here he is while Larry gets the Missouri bugs off of the windshield.
Cochon, liked the trains.... endless lines of cars with random graffiti and rickety sounds that I personally think put him to sleep.....
Here is Mr Cochon, with the toy of my happy meal. I always ask for the "boy" toy, because they are always better. This is the Speedracer toy. Amazing as it was, because it broke apart when it scooted across the floor.
Larry and I listened to the audio version of WATER FOR ELEPHANTS during our drive , to and from the wedding. I had read this novel last year....and Larry heard it for the first time. It is a charming story of a circus during the '30's. We enjoyed the novel while Larry drove and I knitted a sweater for.....(a cousin, and his wife are expecting a baby at Christmas...I shall see them in July and give them an early baby gift)
It is a beautiful Saturday morning. There is much happening today, but I find myself still in my robe and listening to Jazz, (peter nero) postponing my bath while I ponder the day.....
today promises to be fun.....will write more later. Love you lots! Me!
